Cops put woman in police car parked on tracks, CO officials say. Then a train came

North of Platteville, a police cruiser was parked on railroad lines when a train struck the car, injuring a 20-year-old woman inside, according to Colorado authorities.

According to the statement, the officer stopped behind the woman "on the tracks" after she had stopped "just past the train rails."

The Greeley citizen, who was believed to be in possession of a handgun, was held by two Fort Lupton police officers when they arrived, according to the Colorado Bureau of Investigation.
