Apart from Iran, there are currently 19 other countries where the State Department advises all American passport holders to avoid traveling.
American tourists are advised to reconsider their trip to Nigeria due to the risks of 'crime, terrorism, and kidnapping,' according to the State Department.
The State Department has also cautioned Americans to avoid traveling to South Sudan due to the risks of 'crime, kidnapping, and armed conflict.'
