What does the sudden movement of more than $144 million in ETH by the Ethereum whale mean for the cryptocurrency?

According to data from Whale Ready, an Ethereum (CRYPTO: ETH) whale has transferred about 100,000 ETH, or $145.62 million, from one unidentified wallet to another.

The coins were continued, according to Whale Ready, on September 16, one day after Ethereum switched to a proof-of-stake organisation.

The organisation worth to exchange (NVT) indicator for the primary savvy contract stage is now in its greatest state in 16 months, according to market research firm Santiment.

It further mentioned that prominent whale addresses have recently put large amounts of ETH onto transactions.

While trade-based addresses have increased by 78%, non-trade addresses have decreased by 11%.

Prior to last week, Ethereum's trade balance reached 21.96 million, the highest amount in five months.
